Amsterdam is famous for its stroopwafels. Traditionally they're two thin cookies with an even thinner layer of caramel holding it all together. Stroops can also be found with fillings other than caramel: e.g. honey, figs. If the stroopwafel is served fresh and hot, straight from the oven, consider yourself lucky. That's never happened to me, but I imagine it's probably orgasmic. If served room temperature, you can put it on top of your morning latte to melt the filling.
