Tayyabs, in Whitechapel, the best curry in London

After sampling a few more of the many curry houses on Brick Lane, I strayed to Whitechapel, where I found Tayyabs, apparently infamous in London for its Punjabi cuisine. I tried the shami kebab, pakora, dry lamb meat, spicy Karahi chicken tikka masala, spicy popadoms, Peshwari naan, garlic naan, Tandori roti, lamb samosas. I'm not sure I ever need to go to Brick Lane again, except perhaps when my sweet tooth demands it (e.g. chicken tikka pasanda, at Aladin).

Tayyabs, in East London, the most consistently impressive Indian food I've had in London; and, it's BYOB.
