Failed double exposure (Rolleiflex MX-EVS)

One of my favorite things about shooting with the Rolleiflex MX-EVS is its ability to create double exposures. After exposing a frame, you can re-cock the shutter before advancing the film.

The first shot below was intended to be the first of a double exposure, but I forgot to re-cock the shutter before advancing the film; so, using Photoshop, I created what it would have looked like had I not failed to cock the shutter. I'm pleased with how the individual shots turned out, but I quite like double exposures. Just not via Photoshop because that feels like cheating.

An approximation of what the exposure would have looked like, had I been paying enough attention.
