While in Bruges, I stayed at a bed and breakfast called Domus Brugensis, which probably means something interesting in French or Dutch. The B&B was run by Kathy and Dick, whose hospitality was large, and whose breakfasts were even larger. Highly recommended. Less than 100 euros per night. The only downside is that you've got to navigate some fairly steep stairs to reach the bathroom, which after a long day of highly alcoholic Belgian beers is maybe not the best thing in the world. But the sleeping area itself is large, comfortable, unique, and has a pretty decent view, made even better by the morning snow on our second and final morning in Bruges.
