Problems at the Swiss border

My flight from Paris to Moscow was delayed, so I had a tight connection at the airport in Zurich. The customs agent flipped through my passport, then flipped through it again, before asking me, and with a confused look on his face, “How long have you been in Europe?”

Apparently the customs agent in France was not supposed to stamp my passport, because I was not yet leaving the Schengen Area; however, he did, which created a problem for the Swiss agent, who was supposed to stamp my passport, but to do so would have left me with two Schengen Area exit stamps, with only one Schengen Area entry stamp. After explaining my itinerary to him twice, I just shrugged my shoulders as if to say, WhaddyawantmetodosirIamnottheonewhofuckedthisupblametheFrenchguy.

The French passport stamp that I am not supposed to have, in lieu of the Swiss stamp I should have had.
