Café Au Chai de l'Abbaye, at 26 rue de Buci, in Saint-Germain des Prés, came recommended to me as a casual bistro serving Auvergne fare. I tried the dried sausage with pistachio from Lyon, with steamed potatoes, salad, and a glass of Bordeaux supérior, from Château Cadillac.
