Typhoon Haikui; East China

Typhoon Haikui is headed toward the coast, and today it was classified as a severe typhoon. If newspapers are to be believed, and of course they are always infallible, this will be the most serious typhoon that Shanghai has seen in five years. It is expected to be even worse in Hangzhou, according to the girl with whom I spoke whose English was halfway decent.

There is nothing compelling about this video, but sometimes I like to capture the sounds of what I'm seeing. This is West Lake in Hangzhou: Long Bridge, and in the distance, Leifeng Pagoda.
