Semlor (plural of semla) is a Scandinavian pastry, made with slight regional differences. The one I tried was in Stockholm, at the airport, which is where you always find the best food, yeah?
I was warned to not bite into the semla like it's a sandwich, because the cream will just ooze out of the side and you'll make a huge mess, which I managed to do anyway. Semla is basically just sugar, cream, almond paste, more cream, more sugar, and a pastry to hold it all together.
